Course description: Today there are many options when it comes to regaining and/or maintaining our health. There are complementary/alternative/integrative health care practices that can work in conjunction with traditional medical care to help us through any stage of ill physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Some call these healing arts.
Practitioners of the healing arts use acupuncture, reiki, aromatherapy, biofeedback and much more to help their clients and patients regain their health. But what is reiki? Biofeedback? How does acupuncture work?
In this class you'll learn about various healing arts – what they are and how they can help you and those in your life. In many cases the teacher can make referrals to area practitioners if students are interested. Included in this class will be a mini consultation, if students would like assistance choosing a next step for themselves.
There will be minimal homework during this class, and there are no prerequisites.
