The Minnesota Free University---1966-1979

30 and 40 years ago, the Minnesota Free University rode the first wave of the counter-culture or alternative culture. In those radical years, thousands of people gathered in hundreds of Free University classes each year. 5,000 copies of the quarterly bulletin, The FreeYou, were printed and distributed. During its most popular years, the bulletin appeared monthly.

Come join us in doing Capoeira! No experience necessary just people ready to work hard and have some fun. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian Martial Art that combines elements of self-defense, music, dance, and acrobatics.
