The Minnesota Free University---1966-1979
Submitted by exco on Mon, 2008-11-17 16:49.30 and 40 years ago, the Minnesota Free University rode the first wave of the counter-culture or alternative culture. In those radical years, thousands of people gathered in hundreds of Free University classes each year. 5,000 copies of the quarterly bulletin, The FreeYou, were printed and distributed. During its most popular years, the bulletin appeared monthly.
Winter Bicycling Class with Sibley!

Join us Nov 13-14 to get ideas and talk to Joel Krogstad about gear/clothes and John Carlson about DIY studded tires construction (materials for construction will be available for purchase at Sibley during the class).
The schedule is as follows:
Friday
3-5pm -- open shop for winter bike conversion
5-6pm -- seminar on winter biking gear and clothes
Saturday
1-5pm -- making studded tires
